Naval Science Instructor LT Robert J. Skibar, USN (Ret.) has announced the selection of Cadet James Bethea for this year's Navy League Junior ROTC Award for exceptional dedication, military bearing and strong leadership. His outstanding appearance and his unit and community service activities has brought great credit upon the unit. He has also excelled in his academic performance throughout the year.
The New York Council's Executive Director will present the Outstanding Cadet Award Certificate and Medal at the NJROTC Unit's annual Awards Ceremony scheduled for June 8th at 3:00 P.M. on board the USS INTREPID Sea-Air-Space Museum.
