THE LOG Journal
The Log is the official publication of the Navy League of the United States, New York Council. It focuses on the sea services from a New York perspective. Accordingly, issues contain photographs, interviews, and articles on topics such as: Navy and Coast Guard ships visiting New York harbor; ships and military units that have been adopted by the New York Council or that were commissioned in New York; sea service personnel with a New York connection; Navy, Coast Guard, and Marine officers who have spoken before the Council; New York naval history; as well as about Council happenings and events. It also provides a forum for sea services personnel to speak on topics of interest.
The Log is distributed to the Council members as a membership benefit. It is also distributed on a complementary basis to certain officers serving in the New York area and to the commanding officers of the Council’s adopted ships and other military units.
