The New York Military Affairs Symposium is hosting a special in-person and oniine event at Fordham University’s Lincoln Center Campus. The event is free and open to the public. Doors open at 6:45 P.M. and the attire is business casual.
Please join naval analyst and historian Dr. Norman Friedman for a discussion of his book, The Fifty Year War: Conflict and Strategy in the Cold War.
Dr. Friedman is an author, analyst, strategist and historian. He has written over 30 books and numerous articles on naval and military affairs. He has worked for the US Navy and Marine Corps, and has appeared on television programs including PBS, the Discovery Channel, C-SPAN and National Geographic. The Fifty Year War: Conflict and Strategy in the Cold War was a previous winner of the Duke of Westminster Medal for Military Literature for the best miliary history book from the British Royal Services Institute.
