SAVE THE DATE for a special commissioning celebration of the fast response cutter named in honor of Vincent Danz, a New York Police Department officer and a Port Security Specialist Second Class in the United States Coast Guard Reserve who drilled at USCG Sector New York. Officer Danz died responding to the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001, and the Council was proud to have participated in the naming ceremony for the cutter in November 2019.
